I just got cast in an SVA short film called Stay Tuned. In it, I’ll be getting more and more freaked out as I watch the (fearmongering) evening news. I anticipate it will be delicious for my reel.
What’s funny is that I have a callback later today for a short for a director’s reel, with a similar gist: I watch TV, then get freaked out when a disembodied handlebar mustache flies in through an open window and attacks me.
Frankly, I’d love to be typecast as “that guy who watches TV and freaks out”.
