Elections-On-Demand

Filed under: Acting — Jonathan Harford @ 11:08

On Saturday I was in a commercial for some cable channel called “Elections On Demand”. Which, as far as I can tell, will be a channel dedicated to the presidential election. The gist of the spot is a series of man-on-the-street clips, where each person says something completely shallow about who they’re planning to vote for. Some lines I came up with:

  • “I could never vote for anybody who isn’t a cat person, so that only really leaves me one choice.”
  • “I once had coffee with his dental hygienist, and she seemed really nice.”
  • “I really admire his stance on the Mac vs. PC issue.”
  • “I just hope my skin looks that good when I’m that age.”
  • “I had this dream that we raised a child together.”

Some recent auditions: Novell, Maytag, Popeye’s Chicken, NY1, Reebok, Reddi Wip

  1. Hi John,

I’m Gretchen’s friend. We had brunch in NYC near your apartment.

I saw the commercial and said “Gee, that looks like John!”

    Good job, you thespian.
