I got to wear makeup for this film, wherein I played a manic scientist who is brutally murdered, a role that is becoming very familiar to me.

The walk home was fun. I made a point of walking with a spring in my step and a smile on my chin so that people knew I wasn’t, y’know, on death’s door. I was ready with my snappy reply to “what happened to you?” (“Sorry — first rule of Fight Club!”) but the one time somebody spoke to me during my walk it was with such concern that I was quick to reassure him it was makeup. But most people did not want to speak with me, nor even make eye-contact. They just wanted to grimace. By the time I got home, I felt a little bad; like I had made New York just slightly more disturbed today.
Sorry, New York.
