I Have Chosen To Not Renew My Contract With American Talent Management…
…and am seeking representation.
…and am seeking representation.
Tropfest@Tribeca has put all of its finalists online. Watch The Switch:

The Switch took third place at last night’s Tropfest@Tribeca. Woo!
Here’s an NYU newsletter piece about The Switch.
And a NY Daily News thingy on the event.
On September 23, “The Switch” (dir. Jonathan Emmerling) will be one of sixteen short films (chosen from 161 submissions) premiering at Tropfest@Tribeca, a “free public outdoor short film festival” at Battery Park. I play Tom, the sad sack who’s so bad with the laydeez he’s never been on a second date. He finally meets an attractive someone who totally “gets” him and “crushes on” him and whatnot, but it’s a dude! Laughter, tears, lessons, etc. ensue. Watch a short clip here.
Not to be shallow (I’m not, but I know some of you are), but I understand the judges’ll be some, like, pretty famous peeps — last year Naomi Watts and Matt Dillon were two of ‘em. Maybe Robert DeNiro will ask you to save his seat when he goes for a pee. You can blog about it later.
So: I hope you’ll join my friends and me for what will, at the very least, be some pretty good short films. And maybe some wine, if we can bring wine in. (Probably not.) Entertainment starts at 5, and the screening starts around 8 (about when I imagine I’ll get there).

Untucked Films, the production company that produced “The Switch”:

I just finished playing the lead in The Switch (dir. Jonathan Emmerling of Untucked Films), a 7-minute short submitted yesterday (I believe) to Tropfest @ Tribeca. I had a great time filming it and can’t wait to see how it turns out.
Funnily enough, Loose Tea (dir. Lewis Fowler; previously mentioned) is another Untucked Films Tropfest submission.
I’ve also been told that a Time/Warner Business Internet TV commercial that I was in has started showing. I play the tech-obsessed IT guy that Mr. Everyman-Business-Owner gets frustrated by.
I under-stand that users of I-Pods and I-Telephones can subscribe to a Jansen Weatherly pod-cast by simply searching for the name in I-Tunes.
Those of you who give said line of products short shrift can point your RSS reader (I enjoy Google Reader, myself) at
http://feeds.feedburner.com/grabyournuts
and be done with it.
There are a number of videos not yet on the Grab Your Nuts website, including Luging, Rock Climbing, and Dodgeball!
Update: Hey! I just realized that all videos can be see on the blip.tv GrabYourNuts Channel!
I have one one-word line, but it’s a good one.

The grabyournuts.com website is up!
(All videos can also be viewed at YouTube.)
While you’re at it, why not make Jansen Weatherly your mySpace friend?
Yeah, I’m not great at keeping this updated.
